Tentative timeline for open calls for proposals 

Last Open Call for Proposals - Individual Projects and Programmes

Ministry of Regional Development of Poland - The National Focal Point for the EEA Financial Mechanism and the Norwegian Financial Mechanism announces a call for proposals for the submission of applications for individual projects and programmes within the framework of the European Economic Area Financial Mechanism and the Norwegian Financial Mechanism.

The total amount available for call for proposals is EUR 60 615 000

The 3rd open call will be held form 1 February 2008 until 31 March 2008.

This is the last call within the EEA Financial Mechanism and Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2004-2009.

Financial resources are available for the implementation of projects within the following priority sectors:

• Promotion of sustainable development through improved resource use and management,
• Human resource development through, inter alia, promotion of education and training, strengthening of administrative or public service capacities of local government or its institutions, as well as strengthening of democratic processes that support it,
• Implementation of Schengen acquis, support of National Schengen Action Plans, as well as strengthening the judiciary,
• Protection of the environment, with a particular emphasis on strengthening the administrative capacity to implement relevant acquis crucial for the execution of investment projects,
• Regional policy and cross-border activities,
• Technical assistance relating to implementation of acquis communautaire
  
  Last Open Call for Proposals does not cover the 4 following priorities:
  
  
• Protection of the environment, including the human environment, through, inter alia, reduction of pollution and promotion of renewable energy
• Conservation of European cultural heritage, including public transport and urban renewal
• Health and childcare,
• Academic research
