Rules for reporting irregularities
The Good governance policy aims to ensure that the implementation of the Financial Mechanisms is based on the principles of transparency, openness and responsibility. The aim of that policy is to inform the public and to allow them to submit complaints and to report cases of irregularities in respect of the Financial Mechanisms.
Members of the public who suspect mismanagement or corruption in respect of the Financial Mechanisms may share their concerns with the Financial Mechanism Office (FMO), National Focal Point, and other relevant institutions, listed below. Irregularity report shall provide as detailed information as possible concerning the notified case.
The National Focal Point analyses all complaints and informs the notifiers, who provided the contact details, about the manner in which the report has been dealt with. If it is found that the report concerns irregularity according to Article 12.2 of Regulations, the irregularity needs to be reported by Polish institutions to the Financial Mechanism Office in Brussels.
