A new POLS call has been launched to support the mobility of researchers. The call takes place as part of the "Basic Research" Programme financed by the EEA and Norway Grants. Its budget is over EUR 7 million.

The objective of the POLS call is to support scientists from all over the world who want to do their research in Poland. Scientists can apply for grants from EUR 100,000 up to EUR 200,000. Funds from the POLS can be allocated to remuneration for the research team, purchase of equipment, materials and services, organization of trips and conferences, as well as other costs related to the implementation of the project.

The first research trips will be carried out in 2021. Projects can last 12 or 24 months. In justified cases, this period may be extended, but it must end by 30 April 2024.

Grant applications can be submitted until June 16, 2020. The documents should be prepared in English.

The "Basic Research" Programme is operated by the National Science Centre.
