Call for proposals in the 2nd round of the competition for intervention projects

The call for proposals in the 2nd round of the intervention competition under the Active Citizens Fund - Regional Programme began on November 22, 2022. Applications can be submitted until May 22, 2023, 12:00 p.m.

Within the competition for intervention projects, it is planned to co-finance activities that constitute a quick response to crisis situations identified by the Applicants, i.e. a sudden change in the social situation or intensifying problems concerning a specific group of recipients. The intervention is to respond to specific, urgent problems and include solutions that can be implemented and bring tangible results within 3 to 8 months.

These projects must also contribute to the development of civil society in Poland and be part of one of the three thematic areas of support under the Programme, i.e.:

  • Protection of human rights (including gender equality issues),
  • Acting for social diversity and preventing exclusion,
  • Building a democratic culture and civic involvement at the local level (including issues related to environmental protection).

The Active Citizens Fund – Regional Programme is implemented by a consortium composed of the Local Democracy Development Foundation (leader), the Education for Democracy Foundation and the Information Society Development Foundation.The program is financed by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway under the EEA and Norway Grants.

Its budget is EUR 26 million.
