Launch of a competition for schools for digital art work dedicated to the EEA and Norway Grants

The Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy, as the National Focal Point for the EEA and Norway Grants, and the National Research Institute – NASK (Research and Academic Computer Network), invite primary and secondary school students to participate in a digital art competition „O tym się wie” ("You have to know about it"). The idea behind the competition is to propagate knowledge about the EEA and Norway Grants and their contribution to the economic and social development of Poland. It is also an opportunity for children and young people to acquire and improve digital competences.

"In the third edition of the EEA and Norway Grants, Poland has over EUR 809 million at its disposal. The funds will be used to support inter alia projects in the field of environmental protection, education, innovation and culture. By organizing a competition for schools in cooperation with the National Research Institute – NASK we can also use these funds for the development of digital competences of students" – emphasizes Deputy Minister of Development Funds and Regional Policy Waldemar Buda.

The task of the competition participants will be to prepare innovative and creative digital art works, devoted to the EEA and Norway Grants and their donors.

The competition starts on January 20, 2021. Attractive prizes await the winners. There are a total of 100 sets of multimedia studio equipment to obtain – each consisting of 16 laptops.

Competition works should be submitted by March 31, 2021 via the form on the competition website – www.otymsiewie.pl. All information about the competition is also available on these webpages.
