Summary conference for the Culture Programme is behind us

The conference 'Partnership for Culture and Heritage - Experiences and Results of the Culture Programme of the EEA Financial Mechanism' took place on 3-4 October 2023. Within this edition of the Culture Programme, as many as 73 projects were funded, with more than PLN 314 million. The summary of the programme was full of interesting events and showed the strength of European cooperation.

On the 3rd of October, a conference was held at the Gdansk Shakespeare Theatre. This evening was enriched by, among others, a performance by the Norwegian artist Karl Seglem. The conference also saw the premiere of an album summarising the Culture Programme, which each of the invited guests received.

On the following day, beneficiaries were invited for a study visit to Malbork Castle and a workshop at the National Maritime Museum in Gdańsk. Both of these sites are beneficiaries of the Culture Programme.

"The main objectives of the Culture Programme are to develop cultural cooperation, entrepreneurship in the cultural sector and cultural heritage management, to improve access to art and culture, to spread the concept of audience development, to increase knowledge of Jewish cultural heritage, and to improve cooperation between institutions or organisations from Poland and Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein."
